Delivery and Shipping

DELIVERY

 

Design Studio Furniture offers a 'White Glove Delivery" service. Your new merchandise will be brought into your home, placed where you would like it, and if necessary properly assembled. Our professional delivery and installation team has experience with our merchandise and will make every effort to meet your expectations. Please advise us of any situations involving small stairways, doorways, or narrow elevators, before your delivery date. These types of situations require extra attention that may need additional preparation.


DELIVERY CHARGE

  • Design Studio Furniture charges a $75.00 delivery charge for smaller items, such as, chairs, stools, lighting, and cocktail tables.

  • Large items and pieces that need assembly, such as wall units, are $125.00 for delivery.

  • These delivery charges are for destinations in the Chicagoland area. Delivery times and days will vary based on the destination.

There may be an additional charge for deliveries that require complicated set up or for destinations that are in the states that immediately surround Chicago.


NATIONAL DELIVERY

Design Studio Furniture does business in many states and countries. We offer worldwide shipping services. We will provide you with a shipping quote, based on your location and the merchandise to be delivered. We will only ship out of state with shipping companies that we trust and have established relationships with. We DO NOT collect or report sales tax on any order that is shipped outside of Illinois.


DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION POLICIES

Warehouse Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm

If available, late hours and weekend deliveries may be arranged for an additional charge. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule.

 

 DELIVERY DATES

Estimated delivery dates are based on our manufacturers production and shipping time frames. We will do our best to deliver your merchandise in a timely fashion; however, exact dates can not be given until the merchandise has arrived at our warehouse.

*Please remember that European and other imports may take a minimum of three months to arrive at our warehouse.

SCHEDULING YOUR DELIVERY

Once your merchandise has been received and inspected, our warehouse manager will contact you to schedule a delivery date and time.
All orders must be PAID IN FULL prior to delivery and installations. Personal checks must clear prior to delivery.

*Please note that certain merchandise (bedroom, dining room, wall units) require extra time for proper installation.


 PREPARATION FOR YOUR DELIVERY
 

We kindly ask that you clear all other furniture and objects from the area in which your new furniture will be placed and set up.

Media and wall unit Installs:

  • Please provide and have handy all power and cable cords that need to be run through your new merchandise. Design Studio service team will not be responsible for the installation of your audio/visual components.

 SIGNATURE OF MERCHANDISE ACCEPTANCE

 

We ask that you carefully inspect all of your new merchandise. If you are completely satisfied, we ask for a signature of acceptance.

If you feel that your items are not in acceptable condition, you may refuse the merchandise. Our service department will contact you to resolve the issue.

*You have five days from your delivery date to report any cosmetic damage. After five days, the design Studio Warranty Policy will go into effect.
