Design Studio Furniture is a family-owned and operated business serving the interior design community for over 50 years. After three generations the Design Studio ?family? continues to accommodate their customers and build lasting business relationships. Our interior design professionals include certified interior designers with years of experience in modern home furnishings.

At Design Studio?s Chicago furniture showrooms you will find extensive collections of European and domestic contemporary furniture and studio furniture. We work with over 100 vendors, including exclusive collections, so that we can help you customize your interior decorating projects.

Most of our modern style furniture is available in various sizes, arrangements, colors, woods, finishes, metals, leathers and fabrics. Although the majority of our merchandise fits in the contemporary furniture category, we do have a wide variety of ?soft? modern/contemporary. Our selection and flexibility allows us to cater to people with a variety of tastes, and to client who are transitioning into the world of contemporary furniture design. Our line of modern furniture includes collections from contemporary classics such as the Mies Van De Rohe ?Barcelona? chair to traditional collections.

We are proud of our elite reputation among the furniture industry and interior design community. The beauty and quality of our contemporary style furniture has attracted film and TV producers, using our pieces to furnish movie and television program sets filmed in the Chicagoland area. We are also very proud of the various models we have furnished in premier residential buildings.

DESIGN CENTER AND SERVICES

At Design Studio Furniture it is our responsibility to keep up with the most current trends in modern home furnishing and interior design. To provide our customers with the best variety of modern contemporary furniture, we attend furniture shows in High Point North Carolina and travel to Europe throughout the year.

Our interior design team can help you in several ways. For customers who are furnishing a new home, they can bring in floor plans and a member of our design team will help them lay out any room in the home. We also offer in-home consultations and weekend and evening appointments. For our out-of-town clients, we will send pictures and information via email. We can make delivery arrangements to your home, regardless of where you live.

We guarantee a hassle-free purchasing experience, and ensure that the delivery and installation of your new contemporary furniture is seamless. For the convenience of our customers, floor models and in-stock items are available for immediate delivery. We are dedicated to serving your needs. We will work around your schedule to make sure you receive your furniture at a time that is convenient for you.

Our styles range from high beds and low beds to platform bases and single headboards and footboards. Most of our beds can be ordered in various combinations. We also carry chests, nightstands, armoires, and mirrors. We have beds with attached nightstands, free standing nights stands, and lit or unlit back panels.

We offer numerous styles, sizes, configurations, fabrics, leathers and finishes. With so many options our interior designers can help you solve any special interior decorating issue.

DINING ROOM

Whether you use your dining room regularly or only to entertain, Design Studio has a dining room collection that will work in virtually any space and for every occasion. Most of our dining tables are available in multiple sizes. We also carry dining tables that are perfect for smaller spaces. Our design staff will help you organize your dining room, so that it is correctly proportioned to your home and will provide enough room for entertaining.  Design Studio offers tables, sideboards, buffets, vitrines, and a large selection of dining chairs.

OCCASIONAL

At Design Studio the options are endless when it comes to occasional furniture. We offer an extensive collection of occasional furniture including cocktail tables, side tables, end tables, console tables, pedestals, and coffee tables. We carry an array of styles, configurations, finishes, and even motion tables. To complete your modern look select one of our many wall and floor mirrors.

ENTERTAINMENT AND OFFICE

Entertaining is so much more enjoyable when you have ample contemporary furniture to accommodate your guests. Design Studio has what you need to complete your entertainment area. Choose from bar stools, counter stools, stools with hydraulics, free standing bars, bar carts, wall units, and free standing entertainment units. We offer entertainment systems that can accommodate various sizes of televisions and also plasmas and LCDs. Wall units come in numerous sizes and configurations, plus our interior designers specialize in custom fitting wall units to living spaces. If you do not see what you are looking for on our showroom floor, we can order exactly what you need.

Design Studio also offers contemporary office furniture. Create a polished and professional home office with our freestanding desks available in many materials and finishes. Our amazing home office program allows us to completely customize a built-in home office to fit your space, where our designers virtually create the exact desk and storage space configuration you require. The options are endless.

LIGHTING AND AREA RUGS

Design Studio offer area rugs and lighting to compliment your contemporary furniture. Our exclusive area rug program allows customers to literally design their own rug. Once you have chosen a desired design and layout, one of our designers will present the color choices, then we will electronically create a photo rendition of your customized area rug. OUTSIDE DESIGNERS AND THE TRADE

Design Studio has an outside designer program, offering extra discounts to the trade. All personal designers must register with our store, providing a resale number and a business card. We work hard to accommodate the needs of our outside designers. Design Studio will pay a 10% commission (of the price of each applicable item) sold to and paid for by the customer in accordance herewith the independent designer. All orders (in this option) will be written and billed in the client?s name. The second option: applicable merchandise may be purchased directly by the approved independent designer at an additional 10% discount. WE offer free delivery and set up/installation in the Chicagoland area for purchases over 00.00. A delivery charge will be applied for purchases under 00.00.
